How Animal was Obtained:
Not long ago, my mom woke me up to go to some "City Yardsale", where basically, about a hundred people were setting up stands on the fairground and selling things like used goods, crafts they'd made, cooking supplies, you name it.
Basically, my mom wanted me to go as a pack muel to carry all the stuff she bought (XD) and in return would let me purchase a few things of my own.

Anyway, I noticed a familiar logo and stopped at the Veterinary Clinic stand, where, along with deals on flea and tick medications, ear cleaning antiseptic, heart worm medication and all kinds of other items on clearance such as leashes, chew toys and the likes, there was a large kennel full of about nine kittens; all males orange tabbies except for a male long-haired gray and white kitten, a male and female black kitten and a tiny little brown tabby/callico mix. All were related and came from the same litter, most belonging to different fathers.

The vet running the stand (who has treated most of my animals) told me that the litter was found at two weeks old, and the mother never came back for them. Since they were all wild, they figured that the mother was too, and that she was probably unfortunately hit by a car, since most wouldn't simply abandon their kittens.

Since the kittens would surely die without a mother, the vet took them in and bottle fed them for nearly two months, then took them out at the yard sale to see if they could find them new homes.

They were each $75.00 (like my other cat, Spike was) and came with free spaying/neutering, had all of their booster shots, and came with a deal on a microchip and a free ID tag.

Of course, I'm not abnormally cat obsessed, since most tend to hate me, but as I was watching them, from the corner...I saw the prettiest jade green eyes, just staring at me.

I could tell, the tiniest of the litter...she just looked like she needed me. I asked if I could hold her (or 'it', since I didn't know if she was male or female or not) and when I was allowed to, it was love at first sight. She was nuzzling me and purring, and I asked if she was male or female. When I was told she was female, I was rather surprised.

All my life, only one other female cat has liked me; a beautiful hymalayan with sky blue eyes called Cuddles who my grandmother owned. Otherwise, all others have literally hated me; even the ones that liked everyone else.

That was it. I had to have her.

Notes:
The kitten who I adopted (and later named Cinder) is now happy, healthy and fitting in perfectly.
She's still very tiny and is afraid to leave my room, but her best friend (and older adopted brother) is Toffles, my fifteen-pound orange tabby/maine coon mix who is the self-proclaimed "Mister Mom". ^^

He grooms her, plays with her, carries her around, and she follows him everywhere as long as he stays in my room. She even curls up against his belly and goes to sleep if she gets cold, and he looks like he'd rather be shot (again XD) than disturb her.

Spike doesn't care for her much, and would prefer to ignore her and pretend she doesn't exist.

Cinder recently aquired a new playmate, more of an adopted sister by the name of Trinity who is a tiny Tabby/Siamese mix. She follows Cinder around everywhere and, just like Spike and Toffles, is quite a chore to seperate her from Cinder.
