One year, seven months.

How Animal was Obtained:
Boxie was purchased, along with her sister, from Ralph and Donna Foster. Their mom is named Branko's Feelin' Groovy and their dad's name is Foster's Bailey Boy.
They also have two aunts owned by the Fosters, their names are Dogtown Calendar Girl and Dogtown Marge Girl, AKA Cali and Margie.
I truly only planned on purchasing one beagle to begin with, but I simply fell in love with Mika's little sister, and couldn't bear to leave without her. So, I forked over another hard-earned $500.00 and took them both home on March 18th, 2005.

Notes:
Boxcar is very independant and out-going. She's not the type to run up to a stranger, and would make a great hunting dog because she wouldn't be able to be stolen, yet she would come back to her owner; me.
She's very swift and agile, and can easily run circles around her older sister; but even though Mika runs a bit slower, she can run for a longer period of time, whereas Boxie gets tired rather quickly. They would also be great show dogs, if I had the money to show them, of course; since Mika has the older 'Classic' style of beagle look, while Boxie has the newer 'Modern' styled face. All in all, they make a great team no matter what.
They also know that they're sisters, and very rarely leave one another's side. Because of this, it is extremely difficult to get pictures of them alone, and they hate it when they have to be taken to the vet at seperate times.
The two also know what the word 'Sister' means, and come breakfast or dinner time, if you ask them, "Where's your Sister?", they'll run outside and around the house to actually call their sister in to eat with them.
They're both quite amazing, but I daresay Boxie inherited her mother's shy, calm pride and personality, though she's a bit more active because of her sister.

We are going to breed her and her sister to a very handsome beagle called Cookee.
